You birthing day is a story that stays with you forever, but has your story been told?
As I'm chatting to a friend this morning I have a HUGE calling to to write this blog, I had to do its straight away and post immediately. My mission to empower birthing parents keeps lighting up the fire in me to help in different ways. As I have now started this journey into HypnoBirthing whilst also soaking up as much research and information around pregnancy and birth as much as possible I’ve also realised more stories needs to be told.
That is the story of the mother who has had her journey but never had the chance to really mull it all over. The story of a mother on her birthing day can change her massively while and while I am on my journey learning about all aspect of birth my passion is around how your birthing day can make you feel. But what about those women who never had the chance to talk? How did it make those women feel. Every single persons individual journey is completely unique left with a lot of mixed emotions, some of you can come out feeling amazing and empowered and unfortunately some don’t, but I believe in every story there is something every woman/birthing parents can take from it to remind themselves they are incredible and they did an amazing job, because I don’t doubt you did the best you absolutely could given your individual circumstances around the birth of your baby.
While I’m on my journey to help women have the most beautiful pregnancy and birth I don't want to let those get left behind who perhaps still have healing left to do or just a chance t speak. Which is why I would also like be a a listening ear to those who need to tell their story, now I’m no therapist and I don’t claim to be but something is telling me I need to do this, to help. So I’m willing to listen and let you be heard. I want to hear not just what happened on your medical notes but how it made you feel! Life moves quickly and we don’t always get the chance to speak in the right environment but it’s never too late and we hold our birthing stories with us forever.
So if you feel there is so much left unsaid from your journey, your perspective and how you felt during your experience I really encourage you to send me and email 📧 molliealicedonnelly@gmail.com I promise it will be completely confidential, private and a safe space for you to be heard. My hopes are that from speaking about your journey I can help you understand you really did do an incredible job so you can be proud and you gain some healing and empowerment. This topic is on my heart and I really want to help 💗.
And if no one told you today, you’re fucking amazing! Lots of love, Moll xxxxx
